Tracey is ready with 12 bags and 600 pounds of school supplies to support two schools and nearly 500 children in the Dominican Republic. The children recently started school, and next week, our dedicated volunteers will deliver backpacks and essential supplies for kindergarten through sixth grade.
We’re also gracious and honored to have Mr. Miller, a generous donor, accompanying us on this trip. His contribution helped cover the cost of transporting some of the suitcases, each filled with 50 pounds of supplies. He will also visit the schools to see firsthand how his support is making a difference.
A special thank you to Tracey and Lilly for organizing this initiative. Although Lilly, who is now in college, won’t be joining us this time, her hard work has been very instrumental in making this project a reality.
We look forward to sharing photos of the children receiving these much-needed supplies and extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to this effort.
