Today marked a major milestone for our organization as we delivered over 600 pounds of school supplies to two schools in the Dominican Republic. Nearly 500 students, busy in class or enjoying lunch, were excited to receive these much-needed items. The joy on their faces reminded us why this work matters so much.
A special thanks to Mario, our attorney, and Nelson, a generous volunteer from the United States. Their support, along with our local liaisons, Tracey and Jeff Thomson, Susi and York, all made this mission possible. They worked tirelessly to help transport the supplies using three vehicles, ensuring that every child could benefit from the donations.
