Nearly 700 Pounds of School Supplies, Two Schools, and So Many Smiles
Today, our Pencils with Passion team delivered nearly 700 pounds of school supplies to two schools serving almost 600 students in the Dominican Republic. The photos capture a moment we look forward to on every visit: students holding up their new supply bags, smiling with classmates, and sharing their excitement. Seeing the supplies reach the children is a reminder of what our donors and volunteers make possible. We were grateful to welcome new helpers on this delivery. Amy joined us from Switzerland, while Nora and Yasser came from Florida by way of Cuba. They stepped in alongside the team, and the day went wonderfully. To the teachers and school staff who welcomed us, thank you. And to everyone who donated, packed, transported, or helped distribute supplies: you helped make the moments in these photos possible.
