Delivering Hope: 600 Pounds of School Supplies to Dominican Republic Students

Today marked a major milestone for our organization as we delivered over 600 pounds of school supplies to two schools in the Dominican Republic. Nearly 500 students, busy in class or enjoying lunch, were excited to receive these much-needed items. The joy on their faces reminded us why this work matters so much. A special thanks to Mario, our attorney, and Nelson, a generous volunteer from the United States. Their support, along with our local liaisons, Tracey and Jeff Thomson, Susi and York, all made this mission possible. They worked tirelessly to help transport the supplies using three vehicles, ensuring that every child could benefit from the donations. We truly believe these efforts are making a significant difference in the lives of these children. As we continue to provide essential tools for their education, we encourage others to join us. If you’re looking for an impactful cause, consider donating to help us continue this work. Every contribution makes an immediate difference. Take a look at some of the heartwarming moments we captured. Your support is what keeps us going, and we’re grateful for every donation that helps change lives. Previous Next

Exciting Update: Pencils With Passion Gears Up to Deliver School Supplies to Dominican Republic

Tracey is ready with 12 bags and 600 pounds of school supplies to support two schools and nearly 500 children in the Dominican Republic. The children recently started school, and next week, our dedicated volunteers will deliver backpacks and essential supplies for kindergarten through sixth grade. We’re also gracious and honored to have Mr. Miller, a generous donor, accompanying us on this trip. His contribution helped cover the cost of transporting some of the suitcases, each filled with 50 pounds of supplies. He will also visit the schools to see firsthand how his support is making a difference. A special thank you to Tracey and Lilly for organizing this initiative. Although Lilly, who is now in college, won’t be joining us this time, her hard work has been very instrumental in making this project a reality. We look forward to sharing photos of the children receiving these much-needed supplies and extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to this effort. Previous Next
